Law Firm Takes Over Ink & Elm to Host A Little Help for Our Friends Charity Event on October 9


We get by with A Little Help for Our Friends. The night of Thursday, October 9, Ink & Elm will be closed to the public for dinner while executive chef Stephen Sharp will be catering to a full house. The law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, L.L.P. is taking over from 6-9 p.m. for a charity fundraising event. Proceeds of this pig roast and Southern artisanal bourbon tasting will benefit Health Law Partnership (HeLP), a trio composed of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Georgia State University College of Law that is coming together to improve the health of low-income children and their families. 

Charbroiled Oysters, Coffee Bean-Smoked Boar and Rombauer Wines Headline Ray's on the River Five-Course Wine Dinner on October 2


Rombauer wines and Ray's on the River - need we say more? On Thursday, October 2 at 7 p.m., chef Josh Warner pairs Rombauer wines with five courses that include scallop crudo and Carolina black rice paired with Rombauer chardonnay and sous-vide duck confit with local chanterelle-Anson Mill grit cake, bacon jam and white cheddar twill paired with Rombauer merlot. The night’s guest speaker Jeff Papa, southeast sales manager for Rombauer Vineyards, will leave you with food for thought. 70 Years of the Mai Tai Calls for "Toast Around the World" at Trader Vic's on September 26

The cocktail celebration will begin in Tokyo and travels west through all Trader Vic’s locations until reaching California, where it all began with the Original Mai Tai®. Orpheus Brewing Taps into Kennesaw Craft Beer Fest September 27


Lager lovers, unite! The Kennesaw Craft Beer Fest is just around the corner and promises to serve up more than 100 beers for sampling, live music and food in Depot Park from 1-6 p.m. on September 27. Orpheus Brewing will be in attendance and pouring samples of its crisp IPAs and tart saisons. Make sure you RSVP early for a discount! Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 on the day of event and include beer samples and entertainment. If you’re feeling fancy, purchase VIP tickets for $70 per person.

New Giving Tree Project at Ink & Elm Supports Intown Collaborative Ministries on September 24


The Giving Tree at Ink & Elm is a new initiative that forwards 10 percent of a night's tabs to a community organization. This year's Giving Tree is excited to benefit Intown Collaborative Ministries on Wednesday, September 24 from 6-10 p.m. Stop by Ink & Elm for dinner and drinks to do a good deed in the tavern side of the restaurant to experience new-South fare and expertly-crafted beverages.
